We Are The World

It is not easy for many to understand the meaning of how we feel when somebody goes out of this life. Someone that you really care or someone that you know barely by books or by any mass media. This is what I believe. I do understand that I cannot share this feeling with anyone, but with my diary. Surely that it is plainful of events.

But meaningful is to share life in its plenitude being as massive and positive as possible. It sounds irrefutable when the losses come in mass like in the case of Haiti. Fortunately, but in the middle of that nightmare, the world joined like one. Lots of countries have been sending the needed supply since then, and for those affected by the earthquake. Nothing, but nothing can substitute the sense of loosing when we look for the appeal of the Haitians inwards their debris.

If not the for the fast intervention with these supports, the figures in human lives lost would be higher than the statistics already published through the media worldwide by the press.But in the middle of this terrible incident some may think why so many countries felt encouraged to help just an only one country, since the world is in turmoil in certain regions and didn't call the attention of organized societies to come to an easy in those areas? Maybe because in Haiti, a country not so far from the Americas, in special, the USA -, a Caribbean country - lost in its poverty, carried along and alive just by the courage of its people, stands surviving. There wasn't any country alike in South America holding such ranking of poverty. It was, my opinion, and I guess this is the opinion of good citizens everywhere -, the main aspect that made the emergence be as fast as necessary and never seen before in situations like that.

So, I conclude this article with a bit of hope and the applauded the rigorous moment when singers from America and Canada joined to sing a song that not too long ago, became a kind of anthem to support people afflicted by civil wars, dries, by floods or any other natural hazardous in Africa. The voice of almost 60 famous singers recorded a song and, survived not only this song, in special, but what the rock'n'roll by itself can do in benefit of the mankind, no matter the criticism that some have about this kind of rythm.
