Geminids Meteors

One of the most beautiful views concerning to meteors seeing by me this weekend were three meteors from the Geminids close to the constellations of Procyon, Compass and the Crux. They were seen by me at visible conditions: no clouds and no city lights. the first one had a large tail and a magnitude about - 3.7 mg. The three meteors were about at the apogee. Brilliant in the rural areas, these meteors presented a wonderful natural show that took me by surprise.

I just couldn't get any binoculars and cam either. Anyway, the hours they appeared were exactly at 22:57 p.m., 11:57 p.m. and the third at almost 11 o'clock sharp. Thin and covered by the distances, a faint, this last one showed a red light that yet distant since compared to the others, could be seen by experts helped by experiencing in observing these cosmic bolides. The coordenates they appeared to me were about as in the sky apogee as always. I also took as reference the Geminids constellation. These observations seemed to be one of the most wonderful ever seen by me since I had chances to observe the Comet McNaught by its brightness, quickness and magnitude. Sorry, no pictures this time. Better luck to my friends of Multiply today when they can be seen again at Monday dawn.
